YA Authors Roth and Bardugo Light Up LATFOB

The Divergent discussion at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books this past weekend was quite an experience! The event was billed as Leigh Bardugo (author of the Grisha YA fantasy trilogy) interviewing Veronica Roth about her young adult (YA) novel Divergent, which was recently made into a feature film. It did start out that way, but Roth quickly turned the tables on Bardugo, so at times, it was a duel of interview questions, and at other times an all-out vocal melee (with generous contributions from the audience) like one might expect on The View.
